What is the Technology wing?

Programming, data, AI, cloud and security: the skills that make software and systems work.

Which courses are in the Technology wing?

14 published courses today:

  • Python From Zero: Write Programs That Work: You write and run real Python programs from the first lesson, and you finish with three small working tools that you built yourself, tested with checks you wrote, and can change without starting over.
  • Python Automation: Make the Computer Do Your Boring Work: You automate files, spreadsheets, email drafts and web lookups that eat your week. You finish with your own script that plans before it acts, keeps a log, is tested against sample data, and runs on a schedule.
  • SQL: Ask Any Database Any Question: You will be able to write SQL that answers business questions from a database: choose and sort columns, filter rows, summarise and group, join tables, and check that your numbers are right. You finish with a report you built and checked yourself.
  • Data Analytics From Scratch: Answer Real Business Questions: You collect, clean, analyse and present data so a boss can act on it. By the end you will have worked through the whole analytics loop on one practice dataset and produced a case study with charts and a written recommendation that states how sure you are and what the data cannot show.
  • Build AI Agents and Workflows (No-Code): Design and build automations and simple AI agents with no-code tools, and test them before you trust them.
  • Node.js: Build the Back End and APIs: You build a secure API with a database that a front end can use: a REST API with accounts, login, private data for each user, automated tests and a deployment you can show to others.
  • Power BI: Build Dashboards People Actually Use: You turn messy data into a clean, interactive dashboard. By the end you will have built, tested and exported a two-page Power BI report for a sample company, with cleaned data, a connected model, eleven checked measures, working slicers and drillthrough, and a log that shows every key number is right.
  • Machine Learning With Python: From Zero to a Working Model: You build, test and explain real models without drowning in maths. By the end you have trained a model on a real table of home sales, tested it honestly, saved it, and written a plain-English report that shows what it can and cannot do.
  • Prompt Engineering Essentials: You will build a personal prompt library: a set of tested, reusable prompts for your own work, each with a checklist, a test record and a safety note. You will be able to write clear prompts, test them, fix them one part at a time, and check AI answers instead of trusting them.
  • Java for Complete Beginners: You write real Java programs and understand objects, not just syntax. You build one project, Shelf, a text-based book tracker whose data is saved to a file, and you finish able to explain how each class in it works and why it is built that way.
  • AWS Cloud Basics: Understand the Cloud and Build a Small Live Setup: You will be able to explain what the cloud is, why organizations use it, and how the main AWS building blocks (accounts, access, servers, storage, databases, networks, monitoring and security tools) fit together. You will know how AWS charges, how to set billing alerts, and how to clean up so practice does not turn into a surprise bill. You will finish with a small live cloud setup and a written review of it that you can show to others.
  • Cybersecurity and Ethical Hacking: Fundamentals: You will understand how common attacks work and how to defend against them. You will practise only on a safe lab that you build on your own computer and fully own. You will finish with a written security assessment of that lab: what you found, how you proved it, how you fixed it and how you checked the fix.
  • Docker and Kubernetes for Beginners: You will be able to run ready-made containers, package your own app into an image, and run it on a local Kubernetes cluster with three copies, a stable address, outside settings, health checks, a safe update and a rollback. You finish with a project folder that another person can rebuild from your README.
  • Linux for Absolute Beginners: You will use the Linux command line comfortably and run a small Linux machine. You will manage files and text, control who can do what, install and run a web server, schedule a backup and close the network doors you do not use. You finish with a configured Linux server and a runbook that documents it.
